SOFT TISSUE THERAPY
Dr. Miller may perform soft tissue therapy to specific muscles, tendons, or ligaments that require further treatment for more efficient healing. Many acute and chronic injuries and conditions may benefit greatly from this form of treatment in conjunction with manipulative treatment.
There are various forms of soft-tissue treatment and Dr. Miller will choose the one most appropriate for your condition or injury. Many times it is crucial to get early treatment of acute injuries to reduce adhesions or scar tissue formation that may inhibit the associated joint's mobility. This may lead to reduced function of the joint and to further pain.
